On June 15 and 16, 2023, the Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Trebinje was visited by the Commission of Experts as part of the accreditation procedure of the higher education institution and the study programs Tourism and Hotel Management and Business Economics of the Tourism Industry.
During the visit, the Commission of Experts had a direct insight into the quality assurance system of the higher education institution and study programs through meetings with the management of the higher education institution, the Commission for Self-Evaluation and Quality Assurance, representatives of the student service and administrative staff, representatives of accounting and the library, representatives of the department for international cooperation, academic staff engaged in study programs, students in study programs, representatives of the alumni organization and representatives of the labor market with whom the higher education institution has cooperation and who employ graduates from study programs that are subject to the accreditation procedure.

The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) held on May 17, 2023. regular bimonthly online meeting of representatives of network member agencies. At the meeting, in addition to the reports of the president and members of the board, new developements in the work and activities of member agencies of the network and the International Network of Agencies for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (INQAAHE) were presented.
New developments and progress in the Agency for Science and Higher Education from Croatia (AZVO) were presented by Vesna Dodikovic-Jurkovic, assistant director for higher education, while new developments and progress in the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (TKTA) from Azerbaijan were presented by Ulkar Sattarova, president of the executive board of the Agency. A representative of the International Network of Agencies for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (INQAAHE) presented activities on establishing international standards and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education.

The workshop "Implementation of the Lisbon Convention on Recognition in Bosnia and Herzegovina - ILIRIC" was organized by the Center for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education (CIP) in Neum from May 30, 2023 to June 2, 2023 within the project "ILIRIC". The conference was attended by representatives of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, representatives of other authorities responsible for the recognition, as well as by representatives of higher education institutions.
At the workshop, an analysis of the regulations in the field of recognition of foreign higher education qualifications was presented, a model regulation for the recognition of foreign higher education qualifications was presented, as well as accompanying forms needed for easier obtaining of information in the evaluation procedures of foreign higher education qualifications.

The Steering Board of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska held its 42nd session on the 10th May, 2023 in the premises of the Agency. In addition to issues related to the work of the Agency, the members of the Steering Board discussed and made decisions regarding the appeals filed by three higher education institutions on the conclusions of the suspension of accreditation procedures, and the decision on the appeal of one higher education institution on the decisions on the rejection of the accreditation of the higher education institution and a study program. As in the previous sessions, another supplement to the List of reviewers of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska was adopted.
