The representative of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, Duсka Radmanoviц, Assistant Director for Accreditation and International Cooperation, participated as a panelist at the event held within the framework of the 89th Session of the General Assembly of the European Students' Union (Board Meeting 89), which was organized for the first time in Banja Luka.
The session, which was officially opened on May 12 at the Student Cultural Center, was organized by the Student Parliament of the University of Banja Luka and the Student Union of the Republic of Srpska. Banja Luka hosted more than 130 student delegates from over 40 European countries on this occasion.

After the opening ceremony, a panel entitled Bridge to EU: Higher Education, European University Alliances & Student Leadership was held, which brought together prominent participants from the field of higher education and student organizations.
The following also participated in the panel:
• Andrej Seva, Associate Professor and Researcher at the University of Banja Luka, member of the Alumni Club of the Union of Students of the Republic of Srpska and President of the Organizing Committee of BM89,
• Prof. Kristina Pantelic Babic, PhD, Associate Professor and Vice-Rector for International and Inter-Institutional Cooperation at the University of Banja Luka,
• Iris Kimizoglu, President of the European Union of Students (ESU), and
• Dacijana Pop, representative of the National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania (ANOSR).
During her presentation, Radmanovic emphasized the importance of the role of students in quality assurance in higher education, emphasizing that students are actively involved in all bodies of the Agency, as well as in accreditation procedures. She presented the Agency’s plans for full membership in the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation with all stakeholders, especially students.
In this context, she invited students to organize a workshop together with the Agency, where they would have the opportunity to openly discuss important topics in the field of quality assurance, in order to jointly contribute to the improvement of higher education in the Republic of Srpska.
